Skipper: Advanced/Charter (5 days over 125 miles,
including 4 night hours)

The holder is certified to act as the skipper and navigator, to be
responsible for
the safety of his/her vessel and crew, for coastal passages within 50
miles of safe harbour, in coastal/tidal waters, where navigational
hazards exist, day or night with good visibility.

(Pre-requisites: achieved level
of Day Skipper and Coastal Navigator,
and completed the Coastal Skipper ashore certificate. Holds current
first Aid plus CPR and VHF or GMDSS Radio.)
(It is possible to include the on water practical for Coastal Navigator
on this course - enquire)
"Cruise
and Learn" format.
This course can also be offered as a ''cruise
and learn", 5 days and 4 nights away from home base cruising the Gulf
Islands, usually in Spring and Summer.. Cost for this format is $1235,
which includes on board accommodation and provisions.
Check with the School by e-mail for potential dates. We require a
minimum of three students to run a course in this format, but can
take a maximum of four students comfortably.
